Great Times at the Red River Rivalry in the Big D
Meg, Scott, Deb, and I had a great time in Dallas this past weekend, especially in seeing the Horns end their five year losing streak to OU with a thorough whipping. This pretty much says it all:

It was great high fiving with Pat, Donna, Shannon, and her friend as we took it all in on a sunny, beautiful fall day.

Before the game, we hooked up with Bob and Tara who showed Meg and Scott a great time on the rides. Their friends Nan and Lee and their twin daughters joined in the festivities.
Both Bob and Scott had their difficulties with the ride "The Experience" which proved to be quite an experience if you're into feeling nauseous. It basically violates every one of my rules for rides to avoid: 1. Going backwards 2. Spinning 3. Anything that will dislocate your spine.

After our fill of Fletcher's Corny Dogs and a Cervesa or three, we headed out to the Stoneleigh P and met up with Aunt Helen. The Aggies were in full battle gear for their big game with Colorado. We'll make no further mentions of what transpired in that game.

While Deb, Meg, and Scott headed back with Aunt Helen, I headed over to Bob and Tara's for a fierce game of Texas Hold 'Em. With Sean off to college, Pat has groomed his successor in Shannon, who took Bob out in the finals.
Overall it was a fantastic weekend and great to visit with everyone!
