Saturday Morning at Bull Creek Park
Meg, Scott, and I took advantage of a brilliant blue sky, cool fall day to go over to Bull Creek Park. This is a park that Bob and Tara's dog, Blackjack would love. The dogs run wild, splashing and fetching in the cool creek.
The park also has nice climbing rocks and trails. Here's some shots of Scott and Meg climbing away.

Stair Railing, Mirrors, Painted Columns
We did an assessment with the builder of what's left, and it looks like the end of October is more realistic that we'll be complete. This was the original estimate when we started building back in March.
Here's the pictures taken yesterday which include the stair railing, bathroom mirrors, and the painted outside columns.
The main electrical line is getting hooked up over the weekend, so much of the electrical work can be finalized.

Appliances, Lighting, and Speakers
The large appliances arrived this week, and the electricians were busy putting them all in place. Also, the rest of the lighting came in for the kitchen island and stairwell to the garage apartment. The speakers, Ethernet, and phone plugs were wired. And finally, some tile work is finishing up in the master bath and third floor bar.

Mazel tov, Eliot!
Eliot Blatt celebrated his Bar Mitzvah on September 2! It was amazing to watch the culmination of Eliot’s 3 years of preparation to be a man and continue his familiy tradition. We all thoroughly enjoyed the Bar Mitzvah, Kiddush luncheon and formal dinner and dancing party (with a tennis theme, of course) at Barton Creek Country Club.

Interior Lighting, Ceiling Fans, Tile, Outdoor Railing
More great progress this past week. The work is moving to interior electrical work as lighting and Emerson ceiling fans are being hung. Also, those of you with some fear of heights will be happy to hear that the second and third deck railing has been installed.
