Merry Christmas to All!

The Christmas season of 2006 was great time with family, friends, and neighbors.

It began with the annual progressive dinner party which we held here at the house. We had six couples over to celebrate the Christmas season and to catch up. The food was absolutely fabulous featuring recipes from Hudson's on the Bend. We'll be hard pressed to top this in the future.

Then just a few days later we had an open house for the neighborhood to meet all our new neighbors. It was great meeting everyone and learning all the ins and outs of the neighborhood intrigue!

Deb's sister, brother-in-law, nephew, and family came in to celebrate Christmas with us. With the rainy weather outside, we had a chance to visit and pull out the old toys for Kai and Mia to play with. Deb's nephew Orion was recently featured in Scientific American magazine and may soon has one of his papers published in the prestigious Nature magazine.

Unfortunately Deb and the girls came down with the stomach flu which came with a vengeance. Scott and I somehow managed to avoid it's ravages and we headed to the Woodlands to celebrate Christmas with my family.

Pat and Donna hosted a present opening and lasagna dinner which was awesome. Unfortunately Pat and I had to serve the spoils of the lost margarita bet to our Dan and Mark who were celebrating the aggie victory at Thanksgiving. Scott had several Madden 2007 football battles with his cousins' Sean and Andrew on Sean's new XBOX 360.

We brought back the presents for Deb and the girls who had recovered from their flu bout. Here's a montage of their present opening party.
