The SemiFinalists
It was a big weekend of tennis here with Kate and Claire competing in Houston and Meg competing here in Austin. By the end of day Saturday all three were semi-finalists in the main draw of their respective brackets.
When Deb shared this news with Jack Newman the CEO and head coach of the Austin Tennis Academy, he said this was a first in his career to have three siblings in the main draw semi-finals at the same time. Nice job, girls!
In the end, Claire made it to the finals before dropping the match in close heartbreaker.
Onward and upward to the March madness tournaments!
