Battle of the Lakes, Part II
One of the emerging rivalries of the Central Texas area is Lake Travis agains Westlake. This year both teams were ranked in the top ten, but Westlake prevailed 28-21 a week ago.
Scott's Pop Warner team had a chance to avenge the loss, and boy did they. Scott paved the way opening some holes on some long touchdown runs.

Nice Win for Longhorns Over TCU
The Longhorns looked much better last night than they did at last week's opener against Arkansas State.
I was sitting with Scott and Kate, Claire, Meg, and a friend of Kate and Claire's had some primo seats on the 40 yard line, upper deck 8th row. Deb had gotten the tickets from ATA but wanted to rest after a very busy week.
Here's the look from our new seats of a scramble by Colt McCoy to the three yard line. They scored two plays later on their way to a 34-13 win.

Live from East Austin
I'm sitting in the stands of East Austin's Yellow Jacket stadium getting ready to root on Scott and the Lake Travis junior Pee Wee Pop Warner football team. They won their opener in impressive fashion 22-0 last week.
Since I'm entering this post with my thumbs on my smartphone, I'll keep this brief.

Update: Too much speed and size for our Wildcats... Final 31-0.
