Lake Travis HS 4A State Football Champions
Yesterday Claire, Kate, Scott and I headed to Waco to see the state 4A Division II state final between the Lake Travis football team and Dallas' Highland Park high school. The game was played at Baylor University's Floyd Casey Stadium.
The wind was howling 30-40 MPH which made for difficult playing conditions and difficulty in trying to stay warm. But like the football team, we persevered and watched a classic. Lake Travis prevailed 36-34 in a game filled with big plays. This video captures the final play and the fans, led by Kate and Claire, storming on the field.
