Scott Competing at Lakeway Guitar Hero III Competition
The competition is on today out at Lakeway park. The Games2U trailer is in place and the kids are doing battle.
Unfortunately Scott had to compete in the 11-18 age group and ran into several buzz saw older teens who could rip through the song Through the Fires and Flames with little difficulty. He knows he'll need to up his game to compete with the big boys!

Great View of the Longhorn vs. Baylor Game
Meg, Scott and I went to the Longhorn game yesterday and had great seats. A lot of the action happened on our end of the field, as the Longhorns eventually started rolling after a 2nd quarter lull.

18 and Under USTA Junior Team Tennis National Championships
Kate and Claire are competing at the 18 & Under USTA Jr. Team Tennis National Championships in Mobile, Alabama this weekend.
They have represented the state of Texas well, and are playing for 3rd/4th place this morning. Claire has had some significant singles wins and Kate has had some doubles victories.

Update: Team Texas prevails including a mixed doubles victory by Claire and her partner to take 3rd overall in the National Championships.
